• Key- Main bright light usually on the light.


• Fill- Fill in the shadows


• Back- opposite the key light and seperates the backround.


MICROPHONES:
• Unidirectional-Picks up from one direction.-Shaped like a heart.

• Omnidirectional- The microphone on top of cameras is omnidirectional- Better off using a unidirectional camera.

• Cardiod- Shaped like a heart.

• Lav/Lapel Microphone- The mic you clip onto your shirt.

• Boom Microphone- Microphone on a pole. Usually unidirectional.
